Sting

Sting(斯汀)被當今樂壇冠以詩人歌手的美名相當程度上得益於他那獨一無二的嗓音，沙啞，但不失細膩，始終如自由不羈的雲，盪漾於緲緲的空中。

1915年10月2日，Sting出生於英國沃森德的一個工人家庭，20歲出頭，他開始參加一些半職業的爵士樂組合，有一次他在表演時身穿一件黑黃相間的衣服，活象只大蜜蜂，被同伴們戲稱為Sting（Sting英語意為螫）。並從此沿用此名。在1977年，他與Stewar Copeland、Andy Summers 組建了The Police (警察)樂隊，簽約Virgin旗下。

The Police一共出過5張專輯唱片，1983年的《Sychronicity》是The Police最為成功的專輯，連續17年周稱雄美國《公告牌》雜志專輯榜。其中的一首單曲「Every Breath You Take」（你的每次呼吸）更是紅極一時，在英美兩地都登上了流行榜首。不久，The Police宣告解散。

Sting的獨唱事業開始於The Police解散前的1982年，1985年，Sting出版了首張個人專輯《藍海龜之夢》，相比之下，這張專輯的歌詞顯得比The Police時期的作品更富智慧。這張專輯中還有「愛他就給他自由」、「心的要塞」和「俄國人」等多首歌暢銷一時。

1993年末，Sting以專輯《Ten Summoner』s Tales》(十個朝聖者的故事)更受到人們的關注，在這張專輯中，Sting已經完全擺脫了The Police時期的影子，並加深了人們對他的行吟詩人印象。

1994年底，寶麗金公司將Sting的歷年名曲網羅一處，推出了精選專輯《金色的田野1984—1994》，熱銷一時。

從80年代末開始，Sting經常涉足政界，用進行巡迴演出的款項來資助印第安人爭取生活的自由。

進入90年代以來，Sting多次獲得葛萊美大獎，成為全球最有影響的藝人之一。

劇情簡介
