寡妇Sammi家财丰厚，但却有很多缺点。她酗酒、抽烟，外加尖酸刻薄，讲大话更是她的擅长，身为公司的董事，却疏于工作，常常诈病不上班。Sammi的出身并不算好，之所以家财万贯全赖幸运遇到一个英俊、博学又很有钱的完美男人。两人拍拖不久便闪电式结婚，但丈夫却在婚后不久便去世。Sammi继承了丈夫的大笔遗产，因此成了一个有钱的寡妇。别人都说Sammi好命，但她却说自己与丈夫相处时间短没有深情。
这天，Sammi又随口以自己右眼视网膜脱落为借口向公司请假，“病假”结束后她以纱布敷住右眼上班。但在路上她却遇到有人跳楼自杀，Sammi从此开始有了左眼能看到鬼的异能。各路游魂野鬼得知她有这一功能后，纷纷找上门来请她帮忙实现未了心愿。这些鬼中以青云的事情最多最为惹人厌，但相处多日后Sammi竟对他产生了好感。
一日，Sammi突发奇想，要青云帮他寻找阴间的丈夫，但青云却没有找到，Sammi因此责怪丈夫不单狠心地丢下自己，还无牵无挂地早早投胎，而青云则踢破Sammi其实一直爱着自己的丈夫，是因为失去丈夫才使得她自暴自弃养成这么多恶习。Sammi决定重新做人，却发现自己的视网膜真的脱落了。手术后，她再也无法见到鬼。从头开始的Sammi再见不到青云，却发现家中有很多青云留下的痕迹，一切仿似当年结婚时的样子，原来青云就是她丈夫的化身。

◎简 介

◇点评：预言般的冷冽和宿命感重现
宗教虔诚者谈之色变的“666现象”正在流行--圣经《启示录》中的666预言，最后审判的存在，40%的美国人相信世界末日的逼近和邪恶力量的强大，恐怖袭击、自然灾难带来的恐慌让不少人觉得凶兆已然无所不在。如果《凶兆》一定要重拍，这个新千年的首次666日期的确是最好时机。
虽然重拍经典影片的导演总是面对吃力不讨好的窘境--忠实原作、照搬不误会被扣上没创意的帽子，改改添添加入新鲜玩意的死亡效果更加明显，好在擅长调度火爆动作场面的导演摩尔这次没再炫耀自己晃动镜头和快速剪辑的“才干”。剧情构架比原作精细不少的新《凶兆》，成功保持了层层推进预言般的冷冽和宿命感。

剧情介绍
