Sting

Sting(斯汀)被当今乐坛冠以诗人歌手的美名相当程度上得益于他那独一无二的嗓音，沙哑，但不失细腻，始终如自由不羁的云，荡漾于缈缈的空中。

1915年10月2日，Sting出生于英国沃森德的一个工人家庭，20岁出头，他开始参加一些半职业的爵士乐组合，有一次他在表演时身穿一件黑黄相间的衣服，活象只大蜜蜂，被同伴们戏称为Sting（Sting英语意为螫）。并从此沿用此名。在1977年，他与Stewar Copeland、Andy Summers 组建了The Police (警察)乐队，签约Virgin旗下。

The Police一共出过5张专辑唱片，1983年的《Sychronicity》是The Police最为成功的专辑，连续17年周称雄美国《公告牌》杂志专辑榜。其中的一首单曲“Every Breath You Take”（你的每次呼吸）更是红极一时，在英美两地都登上了流行榜首。不久，The Police宣告解散。

Sting的独唱事业开始于The Police解散前的1982年，1985年，Sting出版了首张个人专辑《蓝海龟之梦》，相比之下，这张专辑的歌词显得比The Police时期的作品更富智慧。这张专辑中还有“爱他就给他自由”、“心的要塞”和“俄国人”等多首歌畅销一时。

1993年末，Sting以专辑《Ten Summoner’s Tales》(十个朝圣者的故事)更受到人们的关注，在这张专辑中，Sting已经完全摆脱了The Police时期的影子，并加深了人们对他的行吟诗人印象。

1994年底，宝丽金公司将Sting的历年名曲网罗一处，推出了精选专辑《金色的田野1984—1994》，热销一时。

从80年代末开始，Sting经常涉足政界，用进行巡回演出的款项来资助印第安人争取生活的自由。

进入90年代以来，Sting多次获得葛莱美大奖，成为全球最有影响的艺人之一。

剧情简介
